Who Is a Firefighter
Who is a firefighter, brave and bold,
With courage that glimmers like silver and gold?
They rise with the dawn, hearts ready to fight,
Against flames that devour, in darkness and light.
They stand on the frontlines, in gear made of trust,
With brotherhood woven, in courage they must.
Through smoke and through ash, they forge their own way,
A beacon of hope when the skies turn to gray.
With each crackling ember, they hear a soft call,
To save and protect, to rise and not fall.
In the heat of the battle, their spirits ignite,
For every lost soul, they’ll bring forth the light.
Not just in the fires, but in hearts they inspire,
In the laughter of children, in dreams that won’t tire.
A firefighter’s spirit, like the flame they defend,
Is a legacy written, on which we depend.
So here’s to the firefighters, fierce and sincere,
Guardians of safety, our protectors so dear.
In their hands lies the courage to face every fight,
For a firefighter's heart is a beacon of light.
