How does a person know when the end is near? My mother in law cant move any of her limbs and battling to keep her neck up for long. She has lost the ability to speak, can maybe only make noises- we have to guess what she is saying, and now battling to sip water all the way up the straw. She has suprapubic catheter and a peg. ~ Anonymous

My mom and grandma a year after my mom had to get the tracheostomy to have a ventilator breath for her, and three years before she passed. She was only fifty two years old. ~ Shei

The first picture was probably taken in Dec 2012 and the second picture was Aug 2014. My dad was diagnosed May 30, 2014 and died Oct 20, 2014. Such a horrific disease. I pray everyday for a cure. ?? ~ Tammy
